Tharuni is a voluntary organisation working for the empowerment
of adolescent girls, women and the aged in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Issues taken up by Tharuni include campaign
against child marriages, consumption of Gutka, capacity building for adolescent girls, nutrition and health education,
counselling, health camps for women and the aged.
